E. Bart Daniel


Community Involvement


Bart serves as Past President of the Charleston County Bar Association and is currently Chairman of the Bar's Judicial Center and Historic Courthouse Committee. He is also Past Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and currently serves as the Chairman of its Capital Campaign. Bart served on the Commission on Higher Education where he chaired the Finance and Facilities Committee. He was elected to a six year term by alumni of his alma mater to serve on The Citadel Board of Visitors, the governing body of the military college.

In 1995 Bart was awarded the Order of the Palmetto by the Governor, the highest civilian honor given to a South Carolina citizen. Bart is a member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.

Bart has successfully defended numerous white collar prosecutions including fraud, environmental crimes, customs and securities violations.
